What is RuffRinse?
RuffRinse is an 8-pattern handheld dog-washing hose sprayer designed to make outdoor bath time simpler. It combines multiple spray patterns with a built-in 3.5 oz shampoo reservoir so you can wet, soap, and rinse from one sprayer. See the RuffRinse dog wash hose sprayer.
What kind of hose does RuffRinse connect to?
RuffRinse is designed for a standard 3/4-inch U.S. garden hose. The unit arrives with a removable connector insert at the inlet; remove that insert to expose the standard threaded hose connection.
Does RuffRinse connect directly to an indoor shower?
RuffRinse is designed for use with a compatible garden-hose connection. We do not recommend assuming it will connect directly to a household shower head or bathtub faucet unless you already have a compatible adapter that provides a standard 3/4-inch garden-hose connection.
Can I use my own dog shampoo?
Yes. Add your preferred dog shampoo to the built-in 3.5 oz reservoir. Follow the shampoo manufacturer's directions and avoid using products that are not intended for dogs.
How do I switch between shampoo and rinse water?
Use the top adjustment control to vary how much shampoo is mixed into the water stream. Move the control toward the clear-water side to reduce the mixture until the output becomes rinse water. For easiest adjustment, pause the water flow before changing the shampoo setting or opening the reservoir.
What are the 8 spray patterns for?
The rotating spray head lets you choose among eight patterns so you can use a gentler stream for sensitive areas, a broader pattern for wetting and rinsing, or a more focused pattern for cleanup. Choose a comfortable setting for your dog and avoid spraying directly into the eyes, ears, nose, or mouth.
Do I need plumber's or PTFE tape?
It is strongly recommended for the best seal, especially with older or loose-fitting hose connections. PTFE tape is not included.
What comes in the package?
The package includes the green 8-pattern hose sprayer, removable soap reservoir, and removable connector insert. A garden hose, shampoo, and PTFE tape are not included.

Where does RuffRinse ship?
RuffRinse currently offers free standard shipping to eligible addresses in the contiguous United States.
How long does delivery take?
Our standard estimated delivery time is 7–14 business days. Business days do not include weekends or federal holidays. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, address issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Tracking information is provided after your order ships. Please allow some time after receiving the tracking number for the carrier's system to update. Use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email to check delivery progress. If you need help locating your tracking details, please contact us.
Can I change my shipping address or cancel an order?
Please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to help before fulfillment begins, but changes or cancellations may no longer be possible once an order has entered fulfillment or shipped.
What is the return policy?
You may request a return within 30 days of the date your order is delivered. Before returning any product, contact RuffRinse for return authorization and instructions. Items should be returned in substantially the same condition received, with included accessories and components.
What if my order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect?
Contact us promptly so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate replacement or refund. We may request photographs or other information to help resolve the problem.
